Come and have a go at using a pole-lathe with the guidance
of tutor Alan Waterfield.
You will cleave a log of green wood, shape it with a draw-knife on a shave-horse and then turn it on a pole-lathe.
You should be able to make several simple objects such as a rolling pin, dibber and rounders bat and experiment with some decorative mouldings.
