Experienced coppice worker Twiggy, who was our Bill Hogarth Trust coppice apprentice from 2004 - 07, will show you how to use a pole-lathe, from preparing the green wood by cleaving it and shaping it with a draw-knife on a shave-horse, to turning it on the lathe. Learn how to use the different chisels and turn a piece of green wood into a useful item.
