Under the expert tuition of wood carver Geoff Whitley, learn to carve with the grain and shape greenwood into a 3 dimensional sculpture. Carve using traditional woodcarving gouges, chisels etc. Find out how and where to source materials and tools and how to care for your tools. Over the three days you will transform a simple log from the firewood pile into an owl, a set of mushrooms, a tortoise or a house name. No previous experience is necessary and complete beginners will create a piece to be proud of.
