“Learn the essential skills of bushcraft with a day at Bodfari Woodland Skills Centre."
During the course of the day we will look at various methods of fire lighting including fire by friction, before setting up natural shelters in the beautiful mixed woodland at The Warren.
Later in the day we will delve into the world of trapping and snaring as well as discussing various improvised fishing techniques.
The aim of this introduction to bushcraft is to look at the rudimentary skills of a woodsman, skills which can keep us warm, dry and provide food.
