All our Bushcraft courses take place in the Warren Woods next to the Centre. Food is provided for students on all the Bushcraft courses. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.
Our Bushcraft Tutor is Matt McIntyre who has a wealth of experience and whose courses are always a tremendous success.
Spend two days learning how to carve beautiful functional items from freshly cut wood, using basic Bushcraft tools.
This course is for anyone interested in whittling or woodturning.
Learn the skills that will enable you to leave the workbench and chisels at home and discover the pleasure of carving green wood in our beautiful British Woodlands
Previous carving experience is unnecessary.
Students will get the opportunity to:
Fell trees safely and efficiently,
Sharpen and maintain various carving tools,
Make wonderful crafts using the trees you have felled.
